25 years ago, we recognized a need to offer independent insurance and
financial solutions, separate from the agency sponsored systems that were
prevalent at the time. The necessity for autonomous, unbiased services
was important to both individuals and business owners in Atlantic Canada.
In response to this need, we chose to become insurance brokers versus
insurance agents, who only represented one specific insurance company.
This gave us the ability to offer a wide variety of products to a diverse
clientele.
The foundation of Pippy Insurance & Financial was the sale of life
insurance and related products. In an effort to offer a full line of services
to our clients, development into the field of employee benefit plans took
place and later, the natural progression to independent wealth management
services.
This expansion made it possible for all insurance and financial needs
of a client to be serviced through one independent advisor.
