 As President of Pippy Insurance & Financial, Ian brings to the team 30 years of experience in the insurance and financial industry and extensive knowledge of both employee benefit and pension plan programs.
Highlighting this experience is strong client relationships and strategic partnerships with national insurance companies. This capability enables Ian, and Pippy Insurance & Financial, to develop unique insurance products and concepts for the client. Ian concentrates his efforts on looking after the client, providing expert advice and ensuring that client needs are fully met.
Ian has both a Life (including Accident & Sickness) Insurance License and a Mutual Funds License, in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Ian is also an Investment Representative with Manulife Securities.
A respected professional, Ian is also active in his community: he is the current chairperson for the C.A. Pippy Park Commission and a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship, awarded by Rotary International.
